تعرض نادي ليفربول لصفعة جديدة في موسم الانتقالات الصيفي الحالي، بعدما كشفت تقارير صحفية منذ قليل أن لاعب ساوثهامبتون روميو لافيا قرر عدم الانتقال إلى ملعب “الأنفيلد”.

ووفقًا لشبكة “ذا أثلتيك” العالمية، فإن روميو لافيا لاعب وسط ساوثهامبتون قرر الانضمام إلى تشيلسي بدلًا من ليفربول.

وتُعد تلك هي ثاني صفقة يخطفها تشيلسي من ليفربول، بعدما أكدت تقارير أمس بأن لاعب برايتون مويسيس كايسيدو سينضم إلى البلوز رغم عرض الريدز.

وأفادت تقارير، أمس بأن تشيلسي توصل إلى اتفاق مع برايتون حول الرسوم المالية لصفقة كايسيدو.

ولكن يبدو أن صفقة كايسيدو لا تكفي، حيث أكدت شبكة “ذا أثلتيك” العالمية بأن لافيا قرر الانضمام بدوره إلى النادي اللندني، مع العلم أن العلاقات بين تشيلسي وساوثهامبتون جيدة ولا توجد مشكلة متوقعة بشأن الاتفاق.

ومن المتوقع أن تبلغ قيمة انتقال لافيا إلى “ستامفورد بريدج” 50 مليون جنيه إسترليني، إلى جانب الإضافات.

The decision looked promising as seamer Umaid Asif took two wickets in three overs. Five of National Bank’s top six registered single-figures but Nasir Jamshed was fluent though as he struck a 34-ball 32 to take the side to 59 for 5 before the game was abandoned after just over an hour of play.

Sri Lanka seamer Nuwan Kulasekara has been ruled out of the rest of the Bangladesh tour and the Asia Cup with a groin injury. He will be replaced by another seamer, Dhammika Prasad, who is expected to join the squad on Wednesday.Kulasekara sustained the injury during the first ODI on Monday in Mirpur. He had bowled six overs for 38 runs in the match that Sri Lanka won by 13 runs. He is also in the World T20 squad, which will also be played in Bangladesh.Thirty-year-old Prasad has played 12 ODIs and taken 18 wickets. He last played an ODI nearly two years ago, in March 2012, during the tri-series in Australia which also involved India. He has been among the wickets off late in first-class matches and picked up six wickets against England Lions in Pallekele.

West Indies edged home in a close five-wicket win to seal the series and Santokie said his confidence had grown and he was ready to be thrust on to the big stage.”I’ve only played four games so far but let’s hope after this performance, I can be a consistent performer in the team,” Santokie said. “I bowl wicket-to-wicket as most batsmen like to free their hands so I keep it close to the batters, not giving them any width. Making my debut [against England] a couple years ago, it was good to come back and play them again and win the Man-of-the-Match.
