New Zealand did not train in Dhaka on Sunday to avoid travelling during the first day of a 60-hour general strike. However the main opposition party who called the has said that the visiting cricket team have been exempted from the strike’s jurisdiction.”We have told the BCB on Saturday evening that New Zealand will be out of the hartal,” Lt. Col. (retd) MA Latif Khan, BNP’s sports affairs secretary, said. “Our party understands that the cricket team’s visit is important, and there is a World Twenty20 scheduled to take place in the country next year.”But New Zealand remained concerned about their safety in Dhaka after they followed news of countrywide violence. There were also some incidents around the team hotel, which is heavily guarded by police. “We wanted to avoid travelling during the hartal. We just played it safe, but we will train in the afternoon tomorrow,” said New Zealand’s media manager Richard Irvine.”We have adequate security and we are being well looked after. But we will still stay in touch with local authorities. We have our security man here, so we are not too worried.”Cricket and cricketers are usually considered above politics in Bangladesh but international cricket scheduled from now till April next year, which includes the World Twenty20 that will run from March 16 to April 6, also coincides with general elections in the country. The BCB are mindful of the situation and have beefed up security wherever the teams have moved.The first one-day international between Bangladesh and New Zealand takes place in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Depois do erro cometido, o Flamengo alterou a imagem para colocar a de Andrade.

A ABCD (Autoridade Brasileira de Controle de Dopagem) adicionou nesta quarta-feira o nome do atacante Gonzalo Carneiro, do São Paulo, na lista de atletas suspensos preventivamente por uso de substâncias proibidas. De acordo com a entidade, o uruguaio testou positivo parabenzoilecgonina, um metabólito da cocaína, em exame realizado após a derrota por 1 a 0 para o Palmeiras na primeira fase do Paulistão.

O jogador solicitou a contraprova do exame. Segundo seu estafe, o resultado deste novo teste deve ser divulgado na semana que vem.

A princípio, Gonzalo está impossibilitado de defender o São Paulo pelo menos até o seu julgamento no TJD-AD (Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva Antidopagem), em Brasília, que pode demorar meses para ser realizado – este tribunal é responsável por avaliar casos de doping em todos os esportes, não só no futebol, por isso costuma haver uma “fila de espera”.

Pakistan’s senior bowlers were sharp, quick-witted and collected, and their batsmen unruffled, as they chased 146 with five balls to spare. Sri Lanka may be the top-ranked Twenty20 side for now, but Pakistan were clearly the better-drilled and more fluent outfit, after their tough series against South Africa.Pakistan will also take pleasure in the versatility of their XI from the first match. Left-arm seamer Usman Khan had debuted as a frontline bowler on Wednesday, but after a wayward first over, he was not required to bowl any more, as the spin-bowling allrounders delivered their quotas cheaply. Similarly, 22-year-old Bilawal Bhatti produced a crucial 10 runs from No. 8, providing support to Shahid Afridi, who was in danger of running out of capable partners. O Vasco pode ter que pagar uma multa por “ato atentatório contra a dignidade da Justiça”. Isto por conta de ter faltado a uma audiência de conciliação no Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ), em ação que o volante Andrezinho cobra cerca de R$ 2 milhões do clube. O pedido desta multa foi feita pela parte do jogador.

Andrezinho defendeu o Vasco entre os anos de 2015 e 2017. Em outubro de 2018, entrou com processo contra o clube, caindo na 36ª Vara Cível do TJRJ, por meio da sua empresa “Andrezinho Representações Esportivas Ltda”. Ele cobra do Cruz-Maltino seis meses de salários atrasados, além de 12 meses de FGTS não pagos até então.

O processo envolve também direito de imagem de Andrezinho no período que esteve no Vasco, além de indenização por dano material e correção monetária pelo inadimplemento. Em dezembro do ano passado, o juiz Rossidelio Lopes da Fonte marcou audiência para fevereiro, depois adiada para o fim de março após manifestação do Cruz-Maltino.

No dia da audiência, porém, apenas a parte autora, do Andrezinho, compareceu, com o réu, o Vasco, ausente. Agora, os autos foram encaminhados novamente ao juiz, que deverá decidir se acata o pedido de Andrezinho em multar o Vasco por não ter comparecido à audiência previamente marcada (confira abaixo a íntegra da ata de audiência).

Por meio da assessoria de imprensa, o clube informou que “pediu para remarcar a audiência por conta de uma intercorrência e está aguardando” uma decisão do juízo. Nos bastidores, o clube espera que a multa também seja afastada, já que não teve prejuízo de revelia pela falta ter sido em uma audiência inicial. A manifestação do Vasco foi cinco dias após a audiência.

أوضحت صحيفة “سبورت” الكتالونية، موقف جناح الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي برشلونة، أنسو فاتي، من الرحيل النهائي عن العملاق الكتالوني.

وازدادت الشائعات في الأيام الماضية عن إمكانية رحيل فاتي عن برشلونة مع وجود اهتمام مسبق من آرسنال وجديد من الهلال السعودي.

وكان مدرب برشلونة، تشافي، قد فتح الباب أمام مغادرة اللاعب قبل إغلاق الميركاتو الصيفي في نهاية الشهر الجاري.

ولكن بحسب التقرير أن فاتي لا يريد الرحيل وأبلغ وكيله، خورخي مينديز، برغبته في الاستمرار مع برشلونة بالموسم المقبل.

يريد اللاعب الشاب المنافسة بقوة على مركزه في برشلونة، خاصة مع رحيل عثمان ديمبلي إلى باريس سان جيرمان ورفض مغريات الهلال السعودي.

قدم الهلال عرضًا بقيمة 50 مليون يورو للتعاقد مع فاتي، لكن الأخير ليس لديه أي نية في الرحيل مهما كان الأمر.
