ويلتقي منتخب مصر مع مالاوي يومي 24 و28 مارس الجاري في الجولة الثالثة والرابعة للتصفيات المؤهلة لكأس أمم إفريقيا بكوت ديفوار 2025.

ويتواجد منتخب مصر في المجموعة الرابعة بتصفيات أمم إفريقيا، مع كل من مالاوي وإثيوبيا وغينيا.

وكان منتخب مصر قد حقق فوزًَا على غينيا بالجولة الأولى بهدف دون رد، وتلقى الخسارة من إثيوبيا بالجولة الثانية بهدفين دون رد.

ويحتل منتخب مصر المركز الرابع والأخير برصيد 3 نقاط، بينما إثيوبيا في الصدارة بنفس الرصيد، ويأتي مالاوي في المركز الثاني وثم غينيا ثالثاً بثلاث نقاط أيضاً.

South African domestic cricket has now lost its three most experienced franchise coaches as a result of the exodus.Nosworthy tendered his letter of resignation on June 4, but it was only accepted by the Lions board on Monday. Although Nosworthy called it “a sad time” and Cassim Docrat, the Lions chief executive thanked Nosworthy for his service and labelled him a “loyal, professional and dedicated individual,” ESPNcricinfo understands that ideological disputes and a lack of results caused Nosworthy’s departure from the franchise.In a statement, Nosworthy said “a number of personal and principled factors were involved in my decision.” Sources close to the franchise say differences with the current administrators of have underlined these factors. If that is the case, Nosworthy would not be the only coach to have disagreements with management.Pybus left Cobras under a cloud and claimed he was “undermined” by the chief executive Andre Odendaal, who responded by calling him “prickly.” Pybus was the most successful franchise coach in the country having won trophies in all three formats with both Titans and Cobras. When he quit his job in Cape Town, Pybus did not have any employment but through luck of timing the Bangladesh post opened up.Ford left Dolphins for a national post, having been courted by Sri Lanka previously and turning them down. They took the field after an aggressive war cry during the team huddle on the boundary, after which their four quicks worked their way through India’s top order with a primarily short-of-a-length attack. Deprived of scoring opportunities and losing wickets regularly, India stagnated and managed only 166.Faced with a middling target, West Indies could afford to see off the new ball but they lost two early wickets in the process. India’s pace options were limited, though, and once the spinners came on the middle-order batsmen settled in without much trouble. John Campbell and Anthony Alleyne charted the course with a 58-run partnership and Kyle Mayers helped finish it with 17 balls to spare. Mayers’ 43 complemented his performance earlier in the day – 10-0-35-2.The early work, however, was done by Mayers’ colleagues, Ronsford Beaton and Jerome Jones. Beaton hit speeds of 143kph bowling with the wind, while Jones ran into it and delivered at 135 kph. They focused on keeping the ball back of a length and quite straight, giving the Indian batsmen very little to come forward to.
