A operação Lava Jato aponta que houve pagamentos de propinas da construtora Odebrecht na construção da Arena Corinthians, inaugurada em 2014.De acordo com o Ministério Público Federal, um diretor da Odebrecht aparece em planilhas da empresa responsável pelas obras da Arena Corinthians como autor de solicitações de pagamento de R$ 500 mil para uma pessoa identificada como “Timão”.Segundo o procurador do Ministério Público Federal, alguns dos codinomes contidos nas planilhas já foram decifrados. Lima, porém, não revelou se o “Timão” já é conhecido após a análise de dados e afirmou que “na medida do possível, o juiz Sergio Moro baixará o sigilo e os fatos ficarão mais claros”.

André Luiz Oliveira, o André Negão, vice-presidente do Corinthians desde o início do ano passado, foi conduzido coercitivamente à sede paulistana da Polícia Federal para prestar esclarecimentos sobre a investigação da Lava Jato. O dirigente acabou detido em flagrante por posse ilegal de armas.

Sem citar nomes, o Corinthians se posicionou em outros pontos a partir de seu comunicado oficial. O clube não considera a obra da Arena encerrada e disse que já enviou nota à Odebrecht questionando diferenças da obra entre o que foi contratado pelo Corinthians e executado pela construtora. Por fim, os valores correspondentes ao contrato de construção do estádio também estão em fase de verificação.

Members of the Newcastle United squad have been left angered at Steve Bruce’s treatment of both Matty and Sean Longstaff, according to Football Insider.

This follows reports from earlier on in the week that players at St. James’ Park were left ‘disgusted’ at the leak to the press that Karl Darlow was to be dropped for Martin Dubravka a few days before their 1-1 home draw against Wolves in the Premier League.

The players believed it was Bruce who leaked the news to the press as Darlow himself had not been informed of the decision.

The former Aston Villa and Sunderland boss also had a bust-up with Matt Ritchie on the training ground in which the former reportedly physically confronted the Scotland international and barged into him after he was called a ‘coward’ by Ritchie.

Now, Football Insider have reported that a source at the North East club has told them that there is both confusion and surprise among the players over Bruce ostracising both of the Longstaff brothers.

There is also anger on Tyneside over the Magpies’ failure to secure a loan move for Matty in the January transfer window.

Some at the Toon believe that Bruce is hindering the development of the two local lads.

Longstaff brothers barely playing for Newcastle

Sean has only played in a mere five senior appearances.

NUFC fans will surely want to see more local talent like the Longstaff brothers coming through, but it seems as if Bruce is haltering their development by not giving them enough matches.

Rob Lee spoke exclusively to Football FanCast as he claims he sees similarities in Allan Saint-Maximin which his former teammate, David Ginola, possessed.

Ginola, like Saint-Maximin, had that flare that gets fans excited and on the edge of their seats, but that does come with its problems, which Lee experienced first hand.

They both could be seen as luxury players in Newcastle United’s team. However, those players can win games on their own, something Lee admitted Ginola was all too good at doing.

The former french winger was a standout player under Kevin Keegan before his move to Tottenham Hotspur. However, Lee claims that it could sometimes be frustrating for the other players when Ginola was having a below-average game.

Lee, who made over 300 appearances for Newcastle, admits you have to free the reins on players such as Ginola and Saint-Maximin, telling FFC.

“He’s a bit like David Ginola that we used to have, you had to let him go and do what he wants to do.

“The rest of the team have to understand that sometimes he’s going to be rubbish, sometimes he’s going to lose the ball every time.

“On his day, he could drag the team single-handedly. On another day, he’d be trying to do the same things and be losing the ball and the rest of the team would have to have to cope with that.

“When you have those sort of players you have to let them go, you can’t say to him you’re playing you on the left but you have to always get all the way back because that’s not what he’s good at.

“That’s not why you put him in the team, you put him in the team to attack, to score goals and create goals, not defend for 80 minutes.”

Saint-Maximin has scored six goals and provided a further 10 assists in 46 appearances for Newcastle to date.

وأوضحت أن أتلتيكو مدريد وافق على مضض بشأن رحيل كيران تريبيير إلى نيوكاسل، حيث كان حريصًا على الاحتفاظ بخدمات الظهير الإنجليزي.

Leeds United have been handed a potential blow ahead of their Premier League clash against Fulham tonight with the news that Rodrigo could be missing.

The Spain international missed the entire month of February with a groin injury he had picked up in the 3-1 victory over Leicester, which saw him forced off early in the first half.

The £100,000-a-week ace only returned to first-team action when he came on against West Ham earlier this month, before being involved in one of those rare instances of being substituted after coming on as a substitute himself versus Chelsea.

Now, The Athletic’s Phil Hay has delivered some damaging news about that Leeds blow, revealing that Rodrigo is a “doubt with a fresh muscular problem”.

While it is a “doubt”, there is surely no way Marcelo Bielsa will want to risk Rodrigo potentially doing even more damage to his muscle and even tearing it by forcing him out onto the pitch against Fulham.

The Leeds boss will surely take a more reserved approach with a player who has only just come back from an injury, and that will no doubt mean Rodrigo misses out on today’s game.

After an impressive appearance against Arsenal earlier in the campaign, former Whites man Noel Whelan explained just how important Rodrigo is to this side, telling Football Insider: “He’s always looking for it, he’s never ever standing still, he’s always on the move and that’s what I like about him. He can’t be marked, he’s always looking for a space – very much the next Hernandez.

“He is a player that looks like he can make things happen. He’s very intelligent, he brings other people into play and makes space for them.”

Whelan also delivered his verdict on why the Spaniard should have started against Chelsea last week, saying: “If you ask 100 Leeds fans who they would prefer in that position, Rodrigo or Tyler Roberts, they would all say Rodrigo all day long.

“He’s your star signing, your record signing. He’s the one player that if he is fit then you’ve got to have him in your side to give you that extra opportunity. Roberts didn’t do anything wrong but I just think it brings a different dimension to the game when Rodrigo’s out there.”

It’s exactly why Bielsa must be worried at seeing the Spaniard go down with yet another injury and potentially missing another game for the Whites.

While he hasn’t exactly set Elland Road alight with his performances, he does perform that key role of joining Patrick Bamford in attack and offering a “different dimension” as Whelan says.

Meanwhile, Leeds must start this “rock” tonight…

كشفت تقارير صحفية فرنسية، عن خطة نادي باريس سان جيرمان للتعاقد مع لاعب وسط مانشستر يونايتد، بول بوجبا في الصيف المقبل.

-Quem decide é o treinador, estou à disposição. Ele fecha o treino, mas vou para Porto Alegre. Vou exercer a mesma função que vinha fazendo, acredito, que é minha posição de origem. Ele me conhece, ganhei alguns pontos contra ele na França (jogou pelo Lille quando Ricardo treinava Bordeaux e Monaco). Acho que ele vai me utilizar na função que gosto, como meia – explicou.

Assim, o Tricolor deve encarar o Inter com Denis, Buffarini, Maicon, Lyanco e Mena; João Schmidt; Kelvin, Hudson, Michel Bastos e Cueva; Chavez. – Hoje, pedimos para molhar bastante. Lá, até os jogadores do Atlético-PR escorrega. É diferente, mas não tem onde, no Rio, treinarmos nas mesmas dimensões para simularmos. Por isso molhamos, para tentarmos nos adaptar – explica o técnico Jair Ventura.

O treinador tem poucas semanas de efetivado no comando alvinegro, mas parece ter conhecimento de sobra em relação as diferenças entre a grama comum e o terreno do rival. E avisa que a instabilidade do mandante não relaxa seus comandados.

– Nós sabemos que tudo pode acontecer. Eu já disputei Sul-Americano Sub-17 e é muito diferente. Muda bastante, quem joga sabe. O quique, a batida… Vamos tentar nos adaptarmos o mais rapidamente possível e sair com resultado – diz.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Rob Lee, who made 280 Premier League appearances, believes Anthony Martial has a problem with himself if he can’t get motivated to play for Manchester United.

It has been reported by EuroSport that Man United are ready to sell Martial, who reportedly earns £250,000-a-week, as they eye up a squad reshuffle ready to challenge Manchester City next season.

Since he arrived as the most expensive teenager in history, Martial has featured 258 times for Manchester United, scoring 78 goals and registering 49 assists in that time, however Lee believes Martial may have an attitude problem as he never seems bothered when playing.

Speaking on Martial’s future at Man United and why the Red Devils should look to cash in on the 25-year old, Lee told FFC exclusively:

“Martial has just been an enigma. He’s got all the talent in the world but he just looks like he can’t be bothered.

“If he can’t be bothered playing for Man United, then I think you’ve got something wrong with you.”

It’s been a difficult season for Martial who has found himself playing all across the front line with very limited success in each position.

The French international has found the net just seven times in 36 games and has only scored four goals in the Premier League this campaign.
