كشف تياجو سيلفا مدافع تشيلسي الإنجليزي سبب رحيله عن باريس سان جيرمان الفرنسي، خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الماضية.

تياجو سيلفا لعب لـ باريس سان جيرمان منذ 2012 بعدما انتقل إليهم من ميلان حتى 2020، وفاز بجميع الألقاب المحلية، وخسر نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا في أغسطس الماضي، قبل الرحيل في صفقة انتقال حر إلى تشيلسي.

وقال تياجو سيلفا في تصريحات لشبكة “Estadio interativo” البرازيلية: “لقد كنت في باريس لمدة 8 سنوات، الأمر أصبح روتينيًا جدًا”.

وأضاف اللاعب البرازيلي: “كل عام تحقق نفس الألقاب، وتشعر بالروتين مع بعض الضغوطات، من أجل لقب أقل البلدان في الدوريات الخمسة الكبرى”.

واختتم: “لهذه الأسباب أردت المغادرة، أردت الشعور بالهدوء قليلًا، وخوض تحدٍ جديد وتغيير الهواء”.

The interim manager’s close to getting them over the line to win another league title, but he needs to showcase his management skills in dealing with some internal problems if he’s going to stand a chance of getting the job full-time.

Dedryck Boyata’s future is quite uncertain, as he’s close to leaving Parkhead after his contract expires. According to reports from Bild, Hertha Berlin has already started negotiating a deal to sign him as a free agent. However, it’s time for the Hoops to take care of Boyata’s lack of genuine commitment.

The Belgian centre-back might be a key cog in keeping their defence impenetrable, yet they’ve managed to succeed without him this season. The Hoops have only lost three league games without him, keeping clean-sheets and putting in strong performances even when he’s missing.

While Lennon has suggested Celtic are keen on signing a new deal, they shouldn’t act desperate. As long as a promising defender is signed to replace him, they’ll be fine. But it’s now time the Scottish Champions stamp their authority by teaching him a lesson for flirting with others, a saga that has drawn on far too long.

Boyata, who is valued at £1.8 million (by Transfermarkt), should be taught a lesson for disrespecting the club for negotiating with others whilst the season goes on by being benched for the remainder of the season. It isn’t the end of the world for Celtic if the Belgian leaves, as they need to teach him and the European footballing fraternity that.

هذا ما كشفت عنه شبكة “ESPN” الشهيرة أن أوزيل لن يكون له أي دور في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز مع آرسنال حتى يناير بعد استبعاده من القائمة.

According to The Express, Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic in this summer’s transfer window.

What’s the word, then?

Mitrovic is widely expected to leave Fulham this summer with the club’s relegation back to the Championship already confirmed after a tough campaign.

According to The Express, Mitrovic has interest from China – Guangzhou Evergrande are prepared to pay Fulham’s £50million asking price – whilst West Ham United, Southampton and Everton all want to sign him.

The same report, though, has claimed that Spurs are also ‘keen’ on bringing the 24-year-old to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the 2019-2020 campaign.

Mitrovic was unable to prevent Fulham from dropping back into the Championship, but the forward has scored 10 Premier League goals this season, which is an excellent return when considering the team’s struggles.

And Tottenham must move for the attacker, who would be the perfect back-up to Harry Kane with Fernando Llorente widely expected to move on this summer.

Why is Mitrovic perfect to supplement Kane?

Filling the back-up spot to Kane is tough for Tottenham.

Indeed, it has to be a player of sufficient quality, but one who is prepared to accept that Kane is the number one forward.

Mitrovic could well be that player.

The Serbia international has more than proved himself in the top flight this term and would surely relish the chance to join a Champions League club.

At the age of 24, it is seemingly the perfect time for the striker to make the next step in his career and it would be a huge disappointment to see him move to China at this stage.

Tottenham appear to be preparing to spend big this summer following a couple of quiet transfer windows, but Mitrovic, who is entirely different to what the capital outfit already have in the final third, should be made a priority.

The League One promotion race saw yet another twist at the weekend which must have delighted Barnsley’s supporters.

After suffering their first defeat in 20 outings against Burton Albion, the Tykes responded in dramatic style on Saturday as goals from Mike-Steven Bahre, Cauley Woodrow, Cameron McGeehan and Jacob Brown helped them secure a 4-2 victory over Fleetwood Town. Although the result was overshadowed by an alleged assault by Joey Barton on Barnsley manager Daniel Stendel after the game (via the BBC), events unfolding in Sunderland’s clash with Coventry provided even more drama on what was a surreal day in the third tier.

Despite coming back from a 3-1 deficit to end the first-half all-square at the Stadium of Light, the Black Cats ended up losing 5-4 to the Sky Blues in what was the highest scoring game of the year in League One. As a result of this defeat, Barnsley were able to leapfrog their promotion rivals in the standings in what could prove to be a pivotal period of the season.

Although Sunderland and Portsmouth still have a game in hand over the Tykes, it could be argued that by having a two-point lead over both teams, Stendel’s side now have the advantage in the battle to finish in the top-two, especially when you compare the respectives run-ins between now and May.

Whereas Barnsley only have to face one side who are in top ten (Blackpool), Pompey and Sunderland have to both face three, which includes the clash between themselves which is set to take place on April 27th. If the Tykes can secure maximum points from their final four fixtures, they would finish on a total of 96 points which has been good enough to secure automatic promotion for each of the last ten seasons in the third tier.

However, any potential slip-ups could end up being very costly for Barnsley in the race for second place as they may have to settle for the lottery of the play-offs if they fail to produce at this vital stage of the year.

Miguel Almiron is yet to show what he can do at St James Park this season. The Paraguayan midfielder has it all in his locker. Goals, assists and work rate, yet it hasn’t clicked for him in England yet. It now looks like he may have to wait until next season for it to happen too, as he was withdrawn with injury against Southampton yesterday.

The classy attacking midfielder has proven to work well with the likes of Salomon Rondon and Ayoze Perez in the Magpies’ front three, yet he hasn’t scored a goal for the club yet. The chances for the attacking midfielder have been there, but he just hasn’t been able to convert and now the fears are that with a hamstring injury he’ll be waiting until next season to net his first goal in the Premier League.

It cost a lot of money to bring Almiron to the club and the fans have taken to him very quickly. His industrious nature has brought him plenty of admirers in the Northeast and St James Park erupts when he shows off his legs, and we can only imagine what the scenes will look like when he finally breaks his duck. The hopes are that he makes it back before the end of the season, but given the way he went down yesterday they’re not holding out hope.

Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to their setback against West Ham, and they’re really not happy with Eric Dier’s verdict on the match.

After all four of the sides chasing those final two Champions League places dropped points last week, Spurs were perfectly placed to put all the pressure on their top four rivals on Saturday.

They did the complete opposite though, as West Ham became the first visiting team both to score at the new stadium and to win there.

It was a match with very few clear-cut chances as the Lilywhites clearly missed the influence of Harry Kane, and Michail Antonio grabbed the only goal of the game in the second half, latching onto a great ball from Marko Arnautovic and firing past Hugo Lloris.

Dier though, who has recently returned from injury and played the full 90 minutes, says his side were just missing that final pass.

“We were constantly getting into good positions but we were just missing that final pass or that final touch, final shot, and then we’ve conceded a very poor goal,” he said.
